The goal of the University of Puget Sound was to increase the size of the Hub building which houses a bookstore, coffee shop, information center, restrooms, meeting rooms, kitchen (with freezer), cooler, all associated appurtenances), servery and dining areas, and numerous offices. The new wing features kitchen, dining area, and offices. The multiphased construction occurred on an occupied campus and included an 18,000 SF structural steel addition.
